Pasig River in Manila, Philippines connects Laguna de Bay to Manila Bay. The Philippine government is planning to add more boats and stations to the Pasig River System to improve its services. The rehabilitation of Pasig River is presently going on for recreation, transportation and tourism purposes. Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission was created in 1999 under Executive Order No. 54. ng PRRC. Pasig River Ferry Services is open from Monday to Saturday and the first trip starts at 6:30 A.M. from Guadalupe Station going to Plaza Mexico in Intramuros, Manila.

     Quezon Bridge. The author is the only passenger besides the boatmen from Escolta to Guadalupe Ferry Station.
